Normal electrical loads on an AC supply system are inductive in nature which causes the power factor to go down. To maintain the operational stability and to maintain power factor of the system within intended limits, capacitive load is connected into or disconnected from the system. This operation can be performed automatically with the help of Auto Capacitor Panels. The system are available both manual as well as automatic power factor improvement with micro processor based relays.
